Seventy Six Taverns by Station Casinos Opening Second Location Soon

Las Vegas-based Station Casinos is expanding its Seventy Six Tavern brand with a second branch. The small-scale venues are a combination of sports bar, eatery, and gambling hall, all catering to the Las Vegas locals market.

The newest Aliante Parkway location in North Las Vegas will open its doors on January 24 with a grand opening party. It will be the second Seventy Six Tavern to open, after the debut of its Lamb Boulevard location in Northwest Las Vegas, eight miles away.

Red Rock Resorts-owned Station is also set to open another Seventy Six Tavern in suburban Northeast Las Vegas, in the Kyle Canyon area, this coming summer.

“We are excited to bring another Seventy Six Tavern to the North Las Vegas area,” said VP of Small Properties at Station Casinos Bobbie Rihel in a press release.

“Following the success of our first location, we are excited to bring our approachable and quality concept to the Aliante community, where we believe it will quickly become another favorite spot for enjoying drinks and meals with friends or family, engaging in top-notch gaming and sports viewing.”

The New Venue

The name Seventy Six Taverns is a reference to 1976, the year Station Casinos was founded. The Americana-style establishment will offer 15 bar top casino games, 24 TV screens for sports, three sports betting kiosks, and a full-service kitchen and bar.

The gambling machines will be provided by IGT, with each offering 55 different game variants of casino poker, blackjack, keno, and selected slots. The sports betting will be provided by Station’s in-house sportsbook, STN Sports.

The new venue will be open 24-hours a day, starting at 9 a.m. on January 23. The opening day will see a launch party with unspecified “live entertainment,” the press release said. There will also be a raffle with $2,000 prizes up for grabs throughout the day.

The Expansion Plans

The Aliante Seventy Six Tavern location is directly opposite from Boyd’s Aliante Casino. That will bring the Seventy Six brand and Station into direct competition with a long-time Las Vegas locals market rival, Boyd Gaming.

Red Rock Resorts and its subsidiary, Station Casinos, have ambitious plans for the Seventy Six Taverns brand. As well as being a lure to what Station considers a more resilient market than the big-spending, tourist-reliant Las Vegas Strip, the company believes Seventy Six Taverns could boost awareness and use of its STN Sportsbook operation.

Station CEO Scott Kreeger told investors in 2024 that the company plans on potentially having as many as seven Seventy Six Tavern locations open in Nevada by the end of 2025.
